British riflemen suddenly remember how to shoot and mow down 2 leaders, 4 crew, and a horse off two of the native guns. As the other survivors runs the lone survivor stands stunned!

The French cavalry on the Allied left flank receive an angry fusilade which smashes their formation! One horseman finds himself near the British gun at top left while the Officer tried to calm his horse at top right. Two riders lose their mounts but keep their lives unlike their 4 comrades laying in the wheat!

Native rifles give a cheer and heckle the French cavalry they just smashed!

Somali swords crawl closer to their target through the tall wheat.

The French cavalry officer manages to rally his few horse and some of the nearby infantry into charging the enemy!

The inspired French infantry surge forward and fire the enemy line felling a few of their assailants!

On the Allied right flank a group of Zulu makes a charge of their own as they probe the Reb Cavalry screen!

A Reb trooper falls to the sharp spears but his fellows pour a hot fire into the sharp menace and drop many of them!

The other half of the squad fires into the pulsing Zulu horde to their front dropping a few more of the fanatical warriors!

The British blue jackets fire off a quick salvo of three shots from their field gun!

Much to their chagrin the shots fall woefully short and to the sides of their target!

As the shells whistle towards the enemy the scattered horse and remaining French infantry on the Allied left flank flood into the field with a fierce cry firing as they go! The shots are fierce and a a good number of the enemy fall!
